It’s easy to hold onto negative thoughts and allow them to flood your mind. Time can be wasted thinking over the what if’s, the why me’s and the life’s not fair.
That’s why it’s important to exercise a positive mindset to fill your life with happiness and fulfilment. Here’s some of our best tips for getting out of a negative place:

  1. Start every day with considering 3 things you are thankful for.
  2. Reinterpret negative thoughts into positive ones.
  3. Consider your why; what do you want out of life?

I’m thankful for….

Every morning, consider this question and try to think of new answers every day.
Here at That’s Ideal we are thankful for many things:

  1. We are thankful that our business is steadily growing with new, fantastic clients!
  2. We’re thankful for our existing clients that we have grown a close relationship with.
  3. We are thankful to be surrounded by family! Being a family run business means we can share our good days and our bad days with each other, and lift one another up when we need it!

Turning a negative into a positive…

Whilst this might be difficult at first, with practice you’ll be subconsciously doing this without realising it!

Here’s some examples:
I always make mistakes. → I do many things well.
Why do bad things always happen to me? → How can I turn this into something positive?
I am sick and tired. → I will get better every day!

Along with this, remember that if you are going through something challenging, do not run from it! Embrace and rise to your challenge!

What’s your ‘Why’?

What is your why?
Why do you get up in the morning? Why do you do the things you do?
Is what you are doing pushing you further towards your goals? If the answer is no, perhaps you need to remind yourself of your dreams and aspirations and plan how you will achieve them!
